First Chalk FAMILY Christmas! (Part 1)

We had an amazing time yesterday with family sharing Kerrington, Madison, and Rebeca's first Christmas along with Cooper's second. It was (and still is) a crazy time in the Chalk household with so many babies in the house--but it will be a Christmas we'll always remember. Thankfully it's captured in pictures so that perhaps the girls will see what they slept through!

Stay tuned for part 2 next weekend with Jason's side of the family!

Skype a litte Christmas Cheer

We missed everyone at Grandma and Grandpa's this year, but thanks to Skype we were still able to be a part of the festivities!

Pizza at the Chalks

Kerri was eyeing Jason's pizza, so he decided to offer her a slice. Don't worry - he didn't let her have it.

Out on the town!

We finally did it! What was so simple and taken for granted not 10 weeks ago has finally happened. That's right, Chalkboard fans, the moon, the stars, and the girls' feedings aligned perfectly and we left the protective confines of the house to GO OUT!

We got the girls all strapped into the car seats with minimal fuss and away we went. Of course the first time out meant we went to Texas Roadhouse! The girls were quiet as could be while we enjoyed a leisurely meal (ok--we were both nervous that an eruption could happen at any moment!)

After lunch, we decided to press our luck and take the girls for a walk at the mall across the street. We went in, ran some errands and made it out with only minor fussing.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Let me tell you... we get some serious prestige walking in a door with two baby twin girls. Heads turned and we were rock stars... (ok, maybe they were the rock stars, but we were at least groupies!)

See below documented proof of our endeavor via video and photo. Notice the nicely stacked rib bones on my plate... SUCCESS!

Madison's first online purchase

She looks quite comfortable around a computer, doesn't she? Holly is letting the girls "pick" their Christmas stockings. Madison apparently likes the reindeer one!
