Guess who's next?!?!?!?! Congratulations to Patrick & Amanda on their engagement. We are all looking forward to the big day on November 4th!

Decorating our Christmas Tree

Yes, it may be a tad bit early, but Holly was very excited about setting up our first ever Christmas Tree. We bought all of our decorations last year the day after Christmas, so they've been waiting in their boxes until today!!!

The New Chalkboard

Welcome, everyone, to the New Chalkboard.

If you've been wondering where updates to my website have been lately, it's due to the fact that I felt that the technology of my previous website was starting to pass me by. Every time I had to update the old website, I had to do so by manually entering in the HTML code underneath of the page. Needless to say, that became quite burdensome and hard to do as the content of my site has grown over the years.

So, in keeping with the times, I have finally created a "Blog". For those not "in the know" (believe me that I wasn't completely until a few weeks ago), a "Blog" is a website that is much easier to update. It's kept in a journal-style format and is much easier to update. With a few clicks of a mouse, I can publish anything I want to my website, anywhere in the world. A few more clicks of the mouse and I can easily add pictures to my website, like the one above.

Also, dear reader, my past posts will be easily archivable and searchable, using the power that is Google, these things are not only possible, but actually pretty easy.

As I continue playing with this new format, the page itself will continue to change. However I hope to eventually get to a point that the page will stay the same, but the content itself will be able to be easily (and thus more frequently) updated by myself and hopefully Holly as well. Comments are welcome on the new format, but stay tuned to see what will happen in the coming weeks!

Also, you can always access the old chalkboard at its new location: http://oldchalkboard.dyndns.org.
