Holly's Research

As many of you know, I am wrapping up my dissertation. To read about my findings (in real English), visit my results website for participants:

I updated your post so that it has the actual link to your MS page.

Congratulations dear!!! Done early and done well--doesn't get any better than that! Now you just have to put in your time next year with your internship and then I will have my very own psychologist ;-).

For those that haven't read Holly's page yet, don't worry, I proofread it and I made sure that it is legible for the layperson. It took quite a bit of editing on Holly's part to "dumb it down" for the rest of us, but I'm seeing to it that she doesn't lose touch with "the common man".

Hopefully Holly's research will encourage people to seek counselling if they have MS. I think the most intriguing part of it is that she found that a large part of the counselling that the MS Society does, isn't the type of counselling that the person with MS needs. I think that's the truly groundbreaking part about the research.

Anyways, congratulations and enjoy your time "earned" by finishing early :-).

Congratulations! It is incredible to think that my daughter is soon to have a Phd. Will we all have to call you Dr. Holly from now on?

I'm not greatly surprised by your findings. I think mental attitude affects a good many aspects of our lives where happiness and contentment are concerned. I trust that this doctor will follow her own findings and use all the avenues open to her so she is always happy.

Of course, its always nice to have a great support system so Jason deserves a pat on the back also - go Jas.

Love ya, Mom
